I pledge to make my car a No Phone Zone. Beginning right now, I will do my part to help put an end to distracted driving by not texting or using my phone while I am driving. I will ask other drivers I know to do the same. I pledge to make a difference.
While I was on my flight home from Phoenix this long weekend, I came across an intriguing article by Ted Olson in the January 18th Newsweek called, "The Conservative Case for Gay Marriage".
He writes, "simply because something has always been done a certain way does not mean that it must always remain that way." How true...
Where would we all be if we never advanced in technology? I certainly wouldn't be blogging right now. Where would we all be if we never questioned laws and rules?
I find it amazing that we live in a country where "free speech" is our motto, yet we deny loving couples the same rights that other loving couples have because of their same sex?
Every couple should be given the same rights...every couple.
I am 100% supportive of gay marriage and gay rights. I recommend everyone read this article. I think it will help question what was, what is now and what CAN be.

that sounds good doesn't it? i wouldn't know... every night i cozy up in bed, exhausted as i may be, close my eyes and then it happens... i day dream, not night dream, but day dream... i dream of anything and everything!
i try to turn it off, but i can't. i think about the books i'm reading, i think about things from work, things from my conversations with people, things that i want to do, wish to do, someday might do. i think of things i wish i hadn't done...
sometimes i have amazing dreams and i get to go places that don't exist. did you ever ride on an enormous falcon with your sister and it took you to the top of mt. everest? oh and did i tell you i was on Oprah? YES! Oprah! oh and i met my grandpa and i was a concert pianist!
i mean, come to think of it, why should i sleep when i can dream?
